Decorate the party
room to look like a construction site:
•
Cover a dining or picnic table with a yellow tablecloth. Draw construction signs
on the tablecloth with a black marker, such as "Construction Zone," and "Caution:
Kids at Play."
•
Decorate the room with boxes, paint brushes, plastic tools and other play
construction site objects.
•
Hang yellow balloons from the ceiling. Write "Construction Zone" on
the balloons with permanent black markers.
•
Set out orange cones, wrap "caution" tape around the furniture and
tables, and hang construction signs on the walls.
