Dressed to Impress
1. Before the party, collect several tall boxes.
2. For each box cut off the top and bottom, then cut along one corner
to reveal four panels. You'll need one panel for each guest.
3. Draw an outline of a person on each panel.
4. Cut a circle where the face is from each outline. Have the kids
paint clothes, shoes, hair, and other details on their outlines so they
look like police officers, super heroes, teachers, and so on.
5. When they're finished, have the kids stand behind their panels
and place their faces into the holes. Take lots of photos!
Business Trip
1. Take the kids to the zoo and find out what it's like to be an
animal trainer, or to a factory to see how things are made, or to a fire
station to see firefighters on the job.
