• Decorate the
party room with items that represent different careers.
Hang a stethoscope from the ceiling for a doctor, place
a briefcase on the table for a lawyer, tack alphabet
letter cutouts to the wall for a teacher, and tape photos
of rock stars to the walls for musicians.
• Display a collection of hats representing various careers. You might
include a firefighter's hat, police officer's hat, sailor's hat, detective's
hat, baseball player's hat, construction worker's hard-hat, and army soldier's
helmet. (You can find inexpensive hats at thrift, costume, or party stores.)
