Batik Eggs
1. Hard boil eggs.
2. Cut out designs from masking tape.
3. Stick the tape on the eggs and dip the eggs
in dye. (You can also use white crayon to resist the
dye.)
4. Remove the tape when dry.
5. Repeat the sticker process, overlapping some
colors before dipping eggs in another color. Work from
light to dark colors. Tape over previous color if you
wish to retain a particular shake or let them bleed
together.
Egg Bunny
1. Transform a hard-boiled egg into a darling
bunny by laying the egg on its side.
2. Glue on pompoms for feet and a tail, slightly
under the egg to keep the egg from rolling.
3. Glue on wiggly plastic eyes at the pointy
front end.
4. Draw on a nose with the red marker and add
whiskers with the black marker.
5. Cut out ears from the pink felt and two small
rectangular teeth from the white felt.
6. Glue the ears on top of egg and the teeth
under the nose and whiskers. Then, display your new
bunny friends!
Easter Bonnet
1. Buy inexpensive straw hats for all the kids
(available at party stores).
2. Gather craft materials such as ribbons, feathers,
jewels, glitter, puffy paints, artificial flowers, glue
and scissors.
3. Let the kids create their own Easter Bonnets
from the materials.
4. Have an Easter parade in your hats!
