The players may
be tired after the game, so provide some simple,
quiet activities to enjoy as a team.
Team Motto
Have the players create their own team motto and share it at the
beginning of
each game. Have a designated parent use a sheet of poster board to write the
brainstorm ideas on for the whole team to see.
Team Pennant
Let the team design a team pennant, or have them create individual pennants on
craft felt or construction paper with permanent markers, acrylic paint, stickers,
and so on.
Hot Potato
Enjoy some fresh air outside by practicing hand-eye coordination and catching
and throwing skills. Have the players sit or stand in a circle, and pass the
ball back and forth like a hot potato.
Signed Baseballs
Have the players sign each other's baseballs to keep as mementos of the
team.
