Mr. McKee sold snack cakes from his 1928 Whippet. During the work week, he would remove the back seat to use the car for deliveries. On weekends, the seat would go back in, and the Whippet became the family car again.

This photo shows O.D. smiling from a second Whippet he had restored in honor of his and Ruth's 50th wedding anniversary in the late 1980s.
