Makes 12 Servings
Ingredients:
1 Carton Little Debbie Red, White and Blue Brownies1 Cup Cold Heavy Whipping Cream
½ Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
2 ½ Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
1 Jar Maraschino Cherries
Supplies:
Mini Star Cookie Cutter
Hand Mixer or Stand Mixer
Directions:
- Unwrap each Iced Brownie and cut in half along the middle of the brownie where it's scored.
- Using the mini star cookie cutter, cut the center of the brownie and set aside the star shape.
- Make the whipping cream by adding the heavy cream in a large mixing bowl.
- With a whisk attachment or hand mixer, whip the cream with the vanilla and sugar for about 3 minutes. Don’t over mix – just until stiff peaks form.
- Pipe or spread the whipped cream on top of the solid brownie half.
- Flip the star over so the chocolate portion of the brownie is showing.
- Now place the star in the center of the cut-out brownie.
- Place the star brownie on top of the whipped cream and put a cherry on top!
Creation Tips:If you are not serving the brownie sandwiches immediately, do not top with the cherry. Instead, wrap the sandwiches in plastic wrap or parchment paper and store in the freezer until time to serve. Let the brownies thaw for up to one hour and top with cherries before serving.
