Ingredients:
1 Carton Little Debbie Apple Fruit Pies
1 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
2 Teaspoons Nutmeg
1 Tablespoon Granulated Sugar
2 Large Eggs
1/3 Cup Milk
1 Tablespoon Butter, melted
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Vegetable Oil for Frying
Powdered Sugar, topping
Supplies:
Large Stock Pot, Dutch Oven or Deep Fryer
Directions:
- Unwrap four Little Debbie Apple Pies.
- Cut pies into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs. Add milk, vanilla and cooled melted butter. Continue whisking until all ingredients are combined.
- In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg.
- Add dry ingredients to wet and mix until a loose dough is formed. Fold in apple pie pieces.
- Fill frying pan with 3-4 cups of oil. Heat oil over medium until it reaches 375-degrees.
